The organizations in this collaborative came together with the goal of coordinating resources, sharing opportunities, and working as one to grow and strengthen the educator community across the Bay Area.
Aim High

Aim High’s mission is to close the opportunity gap by providing free summer learning programs to middle school students from under-resourced communities. They focus on fostering academic and social-emotional growth to help students thrive. Aim High envisions a world where all children have access to quality education, opportunities to grow, and the tools to realize their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Latinos for Education

Their mission is to develop, place, and connect essential Latino leaders in the education sector, building an ecosystem of Latino advocates by infusing Latino talent into positions of influence.

With no prior teaching experience required, TFA provides exceptional training, coaching, professional development, and an unparalleled resource and support network. Participants develop critical teaching, leadership, and advocacy skills, all while joining a network of passionate changemakers fueled by their relentless pursuit of educational equity.

TFA provides professional development, mentorship opportunities, and connections to innovative practices and resources to help educators enhance their impact in the classroom.
Black Teacher Project

BTP's mission is to sustain and develop Black teachers to lead and reimagine schools as communities of liberated learning. Their vision is that every student will benefit from the diversity, excellence, and leadership of an empowered Black teaching force.

BTP offers affinity spaces focused on wellness and leadership development.

We offer free consultations to both DACA workers and other Dreamers and their employers with a connection to the San Francisco Bay Area. Our consultations include individualized assessments of immigration legalization options with an emphasis on employment-based immigration visas.

Kingmakers of Oakland

Their mission is to reimagine systems of education, culture, and wellness, driving narrative change that celebrates Black people and culture, thereby improving educational and life outcomes for Black boys from Pre-K to PhD.
